People born in Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut had the lowest life expectancy, at 76.3 years.
People born in British Columbia had the highest life expectancy, at 81.2 years.
Life expectancy has increased throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, as shown in the table below.
